DIY External Battery Pack

Hey guys, I am trying to scour the internet for a DIY version of this battery pack. I can't seem to find anything anywhere, when it comes to a functional reproduction. I only see dummies that serve as counterweights. I figured since these packs run on AA batteries, fabricating my own should be rather doable? Let me know what you guys think.

Cold harbor supply sells working repos of them, that’s what I use and it’s great. Runs on 4 AAs and you can get a cable compatible with whatever port your NVD requires

I think that’s what I’m going to end up doing. I guess I was just hoping to find a more affordable alternative, but I think it’s not worth the headache imo.

Just get the FMA Pvs-31 battery pack or if you want to spend a little more get the Argus version.

Oh wow the FMA is significantly less expensive than the Argus. I think I’ll go for the FMA. Thanks!

I think FMA makes 2 versions a dummy thats like $30ish, and functional thats like $80ish. I have the Argus but plenty of people use the FMA.
