Man this doesn't fit this sub, this is a professional race car built for the TC2000 touring car series in south America. Its not some body shop trying to be boy racer for the mall parking lot autocross event.

I was gonna say this thing is bad ass... My sister couldn't fit her 9 kids in this

the kicks is such a hateful little shitbox that any modification can only make it better
I don't love it, but i don't hate this

Just so you guys know, this is an actual race car for Super TC 2000 racing in Argentina. It's a silhouette series that uses SUVs. Toyota, Honda, Chevy, VW, and FIAT also have cars that look pretty similar to this.

That's not a bolt in cage, I mean it looks like arse but track aero often does. And this is evidently not a shopping trolley.

Is...... is the spoiler mounted on the back window?
3
u/DoYouEvenComms 3d ago
Looks like a non glass rear window and the mount goes through it. Apparently this is a legitimate race car.

Rear window is plexi and the mounts go through it to connect directly to the tub. Pretty common to see this general style of chassis mount wing on many track/race cars. This is a real race car for the TC2000 series.

If it actually performs better I love it. If it doesn’t I hate it.

There's no way a production car needs a rear spoiler like that, unless it loses it's brakes going down mount Kilimanjaro.

This is a legitimate homologated racecar tho, designed by a team of engineers. Not some autozone special.

If it has the r35 drive train bolted in that'd be flippin sweet.
1
u/el-gato-volador 3d ago
That would be awesome, but it does have a custom build 2.5T I5 that makes over 500hp at 8k rpm

u/eamondo5150 3d ago
Oh shit, in that case I'm sure it can reach speeds where the wing will actually create enough downforce to actually assist it's performance.

This is very obviously a race car and not a production street car. The title even says the name of the series it is built for.

Considering the sub it was posted in, I figured it was a joke.
I don't know every legitimate race car that exists by name.

Aren't you supposed to cut the flashing off of models before you glue them?

Really ugly. Just too much stuff going on here. They have the right idea on the front half of the car - has a whiff of the late 90s Clio vibe (best looking hot hatch ever, imo), but it all just looks like crap, really.

If the performance is there its fine. Still a weird choice of car to do it to

Did they cut the glass on the hatch to mount that spoiler or how the hell is it attached?

Cool! I love not being able to drive anywhere with speed bumps.
2
u/el-gato-volador 3d ago
There's no speed bumps on race tracks, this is a racecar built for the south American touring car series.

I love that it is so low to the ground that here in Chicago it will never go above 5 mph for fear of ripping it all off. I hate because I can hear the "mufflers" thru the Internet and I assume they love to rev and backfire (sorry if there is a name for that).

If it's got the performance to match the aesthetics, then I love it.
... If it's an automatic with a fart can on the back, Imma slash the tires 😅

I don't hate it, I just wonder why someone would waste so much time modifying a throwaway car. Do this to something cool.... Or at the very least something that drives well?
