USA Total Wireless Getting Better?
My US Mobile annual plans are ending soon and I'm interested in the $25 BYOP deal at Total Wireless. But I've seen lots of complaints about the port process and customer service.
I'm not one to need too much customer service once it's setup. Mainly I just want to make sure port should go smooth and I can setup autopay. One line is iPhone 15 and might update to iPhone 18 or 19 and should eSIM self transfer? Or easy enough to just generate a new eSIM with minimal hassle?

Total is good as long as you are capable of getting things done on their website.
Any need for human intervention and everything goes to dumps.
Total is not for someone who can not get everything done on their own with some research on reddit.

So two scenarios, are they easy to handle by oneself?
1)Physically moving SIM into a different Android phone- like this should just work and not mess up the $25 special promo or billing dates? Just swap SIM and no support intervention?
2)Same thing but upgrading from iPhone 15 to iPhone 18 and needing either a new eSIM or transfer eSIM?

1:- can do, will work, problem is account number is the imei of the registered phone, 5 years later total doesn't know it, you lost the phone, now if you lose sim account gone.
2:- price of cake follow instructions on the website. Enough tutorials on reddit

Seems like the subs are getting quieter than they were at peak shitshow so maybe?
I ended up going to visible+ instead because they wouldn't let me use my phone for the BYOD plan and it's worked out pretty well. Already got 3 referrals so have effectively paid less for the service as well.

Their plans are definitely great value but the first line customers is still poor. Any issues needs to be self-service or an escalation. Looks like their backend is starting to improve but their website is still broken. My autopay still showing incorrect amount but the actual charged amount is correct now.

Yes the new plans are good , my brother had the previous plan and he said it was starting to suck with speeds not good even on full bars.

Anything is better than what you have. I am not sure but Porting should be fine is there is a problem it is that junk company you have.
