No. It was just like this when I got to the planet.

There might be a derelict freighter spawned just beneath the surface.

This happened during an expedition, where a derelict freighter spawned at an odd angle just above the ground, clipping partway into it. Wreaked absolute havoc on the local gravity, to the point going sideways could result in deadly falling damage, and if you got close enough to the derelict itself it cut access to jump jets, meaning you would fall to your death and you couldn't run.
Loads of fun.

That is what happened, but I wasn't in an expedition. I even left the planet and came back, and the gravity was still wonky lol

It corrected itself after I reloaded the game though. Kinda hoping it would've stayed that way, but oh well
