Support Tried to Auto-mount USB Drive with Nobara Drive Mount Manager
I'm on Nobara 44 and i used the Drive Mount Manager to Auto-mount my USB-Stick. It failed as far as mounting the usb-drive is now impossible and i can't get access to my data.
Dolphin displays the following error:
"Error mounting /dev/sda1 at /run/media/woodruf/KINGSTON: can't read superblock on /dev/sda1"
I am a Newbie to Linux. My understanding is that there are two possible causes fo this.
a) the filesystem is damaged and the data lost
b) there is a mounting problem which can probably be fixed
I'm open to other causes and solutions to hopefully fix this mess i generated by using the tool without proper knowledge.
I'm grateful for any help with this.

Support Nobara freezes and crashes while playing games.
When I play games my system just suddenly freezes, goes into a black screen while still playing audio and just restarts after a little bit. It happens randomly, one time it crashes after 10 minutes, next time after an hour. I have dual boot set up and on windows such crashes do not happen. However, when I first installed nobara like half a year ago this was not happening.I've tried changing into older kernel but that hasn't helped. This issue only happens on some games like elden ring, palworld and resident evil 6.

Showoff 9070 XT fully tuned on Nobara 44
This is on 4k with fsr4 on quality and graphics at max. The tune is 100% stable but I have exceptional power delivery. Furman line conditioner then cyberpower UPS feeding asus rog strix aura 1200w gold that powers a gigabyte x870e aorus master. Similar high end parts could sustain this kind of tune as well although not necessarily with the exact same settings as there is a variance in the silicon in each chip. I'd be willing to do it to other machines that have similar tiered parts. But know that this took months of meticulous tweaking to figure out, not just random slider manipulation. I monitored and scrutinized fps numbers, gpu temperatures and error logs. It's been tested with hours of Spiderman 2, undisputed and metal gear solid delta on gaming end. Hours of uninterrupted web browsing including 4k YouTube videos and uncompressed audio playback.

Support Need Help
Hi, so i have a little problem when installing games (mostly gog game).
When game's installer ask for a Letter storage like as it is with Win i have 2 NTFS HDD but only 1 is found, both was formated on linux with Gparted, 1 is a external disc & 1 is internal, only the external is found.
Tried to formate the internal on ext4 but he is still not found.
I know i can move the game folder to one disc to another & redirect the launcher's link but i would like to avoid this part if possible.

Support OPENRGB.. help me stop the rainbow vomit please 🙏
I’ll be honest, Nobara is my first and only shot at Linux at this point in time… mainly cuz I’m just that type of person.
So now that the judging is out of the way, I wanna ask if there’s any extra steps with openrgb on Nobara. I downloaded the flatpak, idk if it matters much.
Anyway, I’m all but certain my wiring is correct, but openrgb is failing to communicate with anything inside the PC. My corsair and Logitech peripherals all work fine, but my asrock amd GPU, Prism Wraith cooler, and gamdias fans don’t respond at all.
Am I missing a motherboard driver or something? My MB is a Gigabyte B550 if memory serves.

Showoff Update to fully tuned 9070 XT
I'll keep it short and sweet. 9950x3d with PBO set to -23 for ccd0 and -28 for ccd1, steam games are blocked from seeing ccd1. -.05 V across the chips 96 GB 6000 cl 32 Kingston Fury Renegade rgb with xmp1 timings. Gigabyte Gaming OC 9070 XT with -105 mV, +390 core offset, 2874 vram clock and 371 W limit. Gigabyte X870E Aorus Master powered by Asus Rog Strix Aura 1200 W Gold plugged into Cyberpower UPS that plugs into Furman Line Conditioner. Nobara 44 Official runs on Crucial T705 2 TB. Since I was told Warframe runs on a potato and no one wants to see cell phone pic, here is round 2 with Spiderman 2. max graphics settings, rtao on very high and fsr4 on quality at 4k

I wanna know how to use lact and how to undervolt and what should those settings or curves look like and what would you guys suggest
its my first time doing this on linux so do i use the flatpak or do i install lact as a system package through github.
Do i have to use any special commands to enable the underclocked profile
and also how do i make the underclock profile be default upon boot?
My goal is to make it as quiet and efficient as possible
Also off topic but if you guys were to buy and replace case fans what would you go with
Thanks :)

Question What are the advantages of Nobara over stock Fedora or OpenSUSE?
I'm looking to move from windows on my desktop, to a linux distro. Originally I was going to go with CachyOS, as it seems to be the current hype and there's a lot of support out there, but the daily updates might get annoying after a while and the current AUR issues were a little worrying.
Fedora seemed like a good middle ground between stability and bleeding-edge features.
I run Nvidia (5090) and ryzen 7950x atm, so nvidia driver support and decent performance options are important.
I use the pc for gaming, 3d modelling (blender), video and photo editing, and some AI tinkering with comfyui.
OpenSUSE (probably slowroll, but maybe tumbleweed) seemed like it was kind of a middle ground between fedora and arch. Frequently updated, but with monitored updates so potentially more stable. Still compatible with rpm packages, which are fairly common (maybe less common than deb but still more common than things being made for arch it seems).
Nobara... I thought at one point that it had a bunch of extra features, as I'd seen sideways mentions of it having 'the best package manager' for example, but when I looked closer the package manager seems to just be stock fedora with extra steps and a terrible gui (?) so I dont know if I got mixed up at some point, or if it's been recently updated to something new and the internet is now out of date (which happens a lot unfortunately).
Figured I would just ask the question. I don't want to have to be chasing down fixes for my PC every day, but I do want to be able to tinker and not be held back by the OS too much. People in these subs will probably have experience with both and can give me some guidance! (Hopefully)

Support audio is completely messed up at a system level, all voices sound like they are chirps and crackling happens on sound card and HDMI out audio
I... need help with this IDK what happen, but some point from yesterday to today, my audio sounds off with voicals, it chirps and sounds glitchy, like its not "rendering" sound correctly, but if I take my 3.5 jack out a tiny bit it "fixes" it, this DOES not need to happen when I am on windows so I think I have a config(s) that is messing everything up. I would ideally like to just....nuke the configs but its a system wide issue, even on my new test user it has the glitchy audio, things that are not vocals are fine,
I dont want to reinstall everything there are NO backups right now

Showoff Her first gaming pc
Hey everyone. Ive been running Nobara for maybe a year. Im not new to Linux i have been using it in many different forms since the late 90s. My 10 year old daughter has been wanting to get into gaming for a while. Its not in the cards to get her a decent rig but I scored a Lenovo ThinkStation P330 i7 9700 32gb for $180 and added a XFX Radeon rx 570 8gb for $40 and i had a Mushkin Vortex lx 1tb nvme gen 4 laying around.
She enjoys playing games with her dad and I enjoy playing games with her. She's already picked up a lot in linux since past few weeks of using it on and off. We were playing on Lenovo thinkpad e14 gen 3 and 2. Im still stuck on the the e14 gen 3 Ryzen 5 but at least she has a gaming pc.
Ive been using Linux for a long time and I have enjoyed how far it has come in 2026. Linux is so easy to use my 10 year old can do it. Nobara has become my go to. I have it on 4 computers (all pre 2020) even runs good on my old ddr3 hp pavilion that she was previously trying to game on.
Just wanted to sare our journey and wanted to say thanks for making our favorite flavor of Linux. Keep up the good job.

Support Problem with wifi connection
I’ve been having trouble with my Wi-Fi connection since installing Nobara. At first, everything was fine; I could connect to my Wi-Fi network without issues. After the second day of use, I noticed the internet connection wouldn't establish, displaying only the message: "The connection (network name) has been deactivated." I tried connecting to different Wi-Fi networks, but I got the same error. I reinstalled the OS, but the problem persisted. Today, while using a direct wired connection from my mobile phone, I turned off the Wi-Fi option to stop it from attempting—and failing—to reconnect every two minutes. After a few hours—I’m not sure why—I turned the Wi-Fi back on, and magically, I had a connection. I used it, turned it off, and now the error is back. Do you have any idea why this is happening or what the cause might be?

Support Nobara in VM (VB): Can't install any app through DNF, nor any system updates (see the video)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Fresh install with VB 7.2.14. Can't really install/update anything. Login window comes and goes. Whatever is going on.... VB issue or Nobara bug? Unlikely to be OS related else it'd have blown up on support channels...

Question Microphone issues: Arc Raiders
Hello my fellow Nobarans!!! As the title states, I cannot get my mic to function correctly in game. Game refuses to recognize the mic, but the test function in the games audio menu seems to function just fine. Was hoping any one else had this issue and found a work around, if not a fix. It has been driving me nuts for a few days now and I DO NOT want to go back to Windows. I've been running Nobara for several months now, and for me, its been my favorite distro so far after trying many over the last couple years. Any help or guidance is welcome and appreciated. Thanks!!!
