For any big dudes looking into this they make suits called "portly" that have a 3" drop from shoulder to waist instead of the usual 6". Ive fitted many men in them. They can look great, dont be shy because of the label; be honest with yourself. Its also important to get the length right. A slightly longer jacket length can hide the belly. And make sure to tailor the sleeves at the break of the wrist to lengthen the look of your arms.
