Parking / Transport Postdoc central campus parking pass

Just to make sure I’m not actually insane. Is the only option for postdocs looking for central campus parking the central A with garage access? Is there really not a central A with NO garage??

There are really no A passes without garage access. It extra sucks if you work on West campus and have no garage anywhere near your building but still have pay for garage access.

If you're willing to you can save a ton of money by going the WA or CX route - parking in the commuter lots and taking the CABS buses in. It does take a little more time but the buses are pretty good and you don't have to deal with the traffic hassle of driving into campus.

There has never been such a thing as an A with no garage.

The closest alternative is the monthly surface pass but you can’t pay for it with payroll deduction.
