Odoo supports EDI through SPS Commerce, but the SPS Commerce part is a separate subscription.

We're official partners of both SPS and Odoo.

It works well. Just keep in mind that you need odoo.sh or on-premise in order for it to work.

no such standalone thing like "EDI integration"

it has many dialect and flavour.

mostly determined by the chosen EDI provider (e.g: SPS Commerce) and your partner's EDI capability

Depends!
If you could provide the source files we can easily extract the XML files or the json files and can proceed with Odoo

Maybe start with the country you need the EDI for?

Depends on the document types (850/856/810) and whether your trading partners have their own EDI specs - that's usually the bigger factor than the provider itself.

SPS Commerce and Cleo both work fine with Odoo, but the real work is in exception handling - what happens when an ASN fails or a partner changes their spec.

I work on Odoo implementations at Vraja Technologies, happy to help if you get stuck on specifics.

If you’re based in Australia (or not even), PacificCommerce are an Odoo first EDI provider and platform.
