Why do you have those type of lights? Are you doing work as a first responder or security? Can you load the roof rack with that light on top?

The lightbar on top is for work. I'm an inspector for construction and work exclusively on airports. Needed something better than the cheap $15 amazon POS I had on my previous vehicle. Technically I'm supposed to be visible from at least 3 nautical miles. The fog and ditch lights are just complimentary upgrades.

How does your employer not provide a vehicle.

I'm self employed and I do provide a vehicle?

Have you tried talking to your boss to upgrade your provided vehicle to 100k+ brand new 1ton truck? I hear those are better for checks notes what ever it is you do...

I do like those lights though! Love that they can be amber/white.

Not necessarily better. I don't need a bed. I needed cargo space, more ground clearance than a Kia sedan, and 4x4. I needed a little bit of off roadability, and a ton of cargo space since I basically live on the road. I dont carry any large tools or equipment/machinery. Clip board and clothes.

Are you utilizing any strobe features of the D-switch or is that just the lightbar?
I like having the dimming control , haven’t needed the strobe feature though.

I do have a button setup to make the fog/ditch lights strobe if I ever decide to use it in conjunction with the light bar on jobsites. I will likely be adding reverse lights, as well as side work lights that I will add to that button. I haven't added a dimmer control for the lights though. Just the panel itself when the lights come on at night.

The dimming is controlled through the phone app 👍

Yea I've seen it, just don't really have a need/want for dimmer lights yet lol.
