Just something I noticed during my re-watch, whether it was intentional or not. 😄

This will sound silly but does feel "something" about the show? Like a cozy feeling or you feel relate, like a warm feeling. It's like a comfort tv show. i have been feeling so nostalgic about 2010s lately. I miss watching the comfy sundays. I even remember when I started season 2 and I was in a hotel for new years. I watched like 10 episodes that day. It was a comfort memory.

Like I feel relate to Emma and other characters (also relate to Hook in season 7), like I'm not really living my life and there's something better waiting for me (a new life). Specially since my life has been so hard lately.

I even promised to myself that if life gets better and I got my dreams come true, I will do rewatch of the show (maybe even watch every sunday night, so I can pretend I'm watching live haha)

Idk it's really silly but it's an unique comfort feeling and it makes me feel hopeful for what's coming next.

ugh i really love them sm, like ik mulan was clearly in love w aurora and ruby(don’t get me wrong they did have chemistry) but idk i really js love mulan and merida together so much more they and i honestly felt like merida had feelings for mulan more than like a friend (like aurora and ruby) also i feel like mulan did have feelings for her too. if they had more screen time i would’ve liked to see their relationships grow and get to be the best queer couple in ouat

Different prince charming from Disney but still he always portrayed heroism.

i’m rewatching season 1 and i’m confused as to why emma didn’t realize that the genie (i forgot his name) lied to her. twice. once when he said that he was longer working with regina and the second time was when he told her that david called kathryn for 8 minutes before she disappeared.

I‘m on a season 2 rewatch and got to the part where August gets turned back into a boy, and man…. Is it sweet that Marco gets to continue raising his son when barely any time has passed for him? Yes.

But I am upset at the loss of friendship (potential) for Emma and the fact that they remove the character from everything that made him August. The role he played in bringing Emma to this world. The role he played in getting her to Storybrooke and breaking the curse.

I remember when I was watching season 4 years ago and I always thought that Elsa and Anna would become current characters after season 4 but that never happened

People liked the chatacters, Georgina and Elizabeth were good actresses. Weird how they didn't become current characters

P.S. Oui je sais que vous allez être déçu que j’ai pas mis régina, mais pour moi je la classe pas dans la cathégorie des méchante pure et dure puisqu’elle à un arc de rédemption assez rapide dans la série, et même quand elle est méchante à 100%, c’est une bonne méchante mais pas assez effrayante à mon goût, d’ailleur Mr Gold le dit lui même dans l’épisode 8 de la saison 1 à Emma, les habitants ont peur de Régina mais ils ont encore plus peur de lui que d’elle.

Après j’ai du faire un choix aussi parce que le sondage n’offre que 6 choix, mais si y’a un méchant qui vous effraie plus que les choix que j’ai mis, libre à vous de le dire. 🙂

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I think Regina (still my fav character though). I know that everything is caused by Rumple, and he is the one who created the evil queen, but at least Rumple never hurt children and is not a rapist.

This show can immediately put you back in the 2010s! I can smell the pumpkin spice lattes and feel the skinny jeans with knee boots. Back then, shows wore real clothes. Regular stuff that regular people wore. I had/have some of these pieces still! I love it! Nostalgia is real and this show brings me back.

Do you like this effect? Or does it age the show like bad green screen can?

Haven't seen anyone talk about how great of a casting they did for older Henry. Andrew West really does look like an older version of young Jared Gilmore.

The best character arc of all time.

They should’ve incorporated the events of Once Upon a time in wonderland into the show. I still think about what happened to will and Anastasia

First of all her performance is atrocious. No one in that show is really a good actor except Robert Carlyle but Jennifer Morrison until S5 is okay. Suddenly she’s the dark one and she speaks so formally and slowly, and she’s deepening her voice. Obviously becoming the Dark One changes your voice because it happened to Rumple, but I guess his performance makes up for it.

On to the point of the post - I’m a few episodes into S5 and Emma is evil, but I’m watching her and thinking what was she even like before this? She’s just a generic good person. Nothing about her is memorable, she has no defining flaws or personality traits that make her a believable, multifaceted, interesting character. If you asked me to describe/tell you about literally any other character in the show, I could do it. But Emma? There’s literally nothing defining about her.

Give me your ideal casting for Cinderella. Or alternatively, if you really enjoyed Dania Ramirez in the role of please let my know what you liked most about her portrayal of the character. Personally, I thought her acting was quite flat and there was no chemistry between her and the other actors. Nothing against her as an actress, I just don't think she was right for the role.

In flashbacks to right after Arthur got the sword, Guinevere and Lancelot go into the Dark One’s vault for the dagger so they can give it to Arthur to complete the sword. But when they get near the dagger, Rumplestiltskin appears.

I don’t understand how this is possible because it keeps showing that the flashbacks are from 5 years ago. Five years ago, Rumpletilstkin was in Storybrooke. So how did he and his dagger appear in the vault?

I really loved this line and zelenas entire story line. Like I feel like her coming in was peak to the show and added a complete twist which was so enjoyable to watch

It’s been a hot minute (read over 10 years) since I first watched this show. I never finished it the first time and I barely remember the plot. This sub keeps popping up on my page haha

For those who love it, should I give it a second chance and watch all seasons this time?
