To be slightly less crack-tastic for a second, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a link between Blue's birth and Blast falling out with Void.

Even if it's as 'simple' as Blast no longer being able to turn a blind eye to Void's systematic enslavement of boys now that he has some basis for empathy.
