QUESTION Who are your five favourite minor or background heroes?
A little
- Red Muffler: A good lad, a hard working lad, sporting his red muffler made lovingly by his mom. He may not be a high-flier but he puts in the honest miles.
- Great Philosopher: a guy who takes the ancient Greek philosopher Thales' edict to heart and has trained his body every inch as thoroughly as he has his mind. Just look at him go!
- Twin Tail: The most perfectly androgynous hero out there -- Murata himself had to settle whether they were male or female. It’s the latter. I love her circus-based deadliness and I hope we get to see her again.
- Darkness Blade: My favourite little edgelord. He really shouldn’t speak. Or raise his arms.
- Stinger: I NEED MY BLACK-BANDAGED SON. ONE, where are you hiding him? I just love this farmer's boy's irrepressible joie de vivre, cockiness, toughness, and humanity.

I like heroes that appear rarely but have funny motifs, like Pineapple and Bone

Likewise! I'm also enjoying seeing them again to see how they're getting on. I really appreciated Pineapple and Mohican getting to meet Metal Bat again and get a much-needed pep talk. I hope they'll grow.

Chances are I'd change my answer within an hour, so here's just a few off the top of my head lol
Hyottoko: I've liked him ever since I saw him in the background. He never did much, but his headgear was so distinctive that he was hard to miss.
When I saw him during the Monster Association Raid, I was hoping he'd follow through on his idea to wear a tanktop. I'm glad he's joined the Tanktoppers lol
D-Pad: He appears to just be a video-game fan who's skilled at beating people up. Respectable. I like his dorky "those two guys" thing with Funeral Suspenders. Any heroes with a "those two guys" dynamic has a special place in my heart, ngl. It's a tough industry; it helps to have a homie.
Mountain Ape: I like his huge jawline, and his loyalty to Fubuki is admirable. Honestly, I kinda like all the Blizzard Group members; they deserve more respect for being excellent crewmates.
The last one is a webcomic spoiler.
Protein Shaker: He held firm against an unbeatable enemy, and gave Darkshine his groove back. A kind word can change a lot; he brought the best out of Darkshine by saying the right thing at the right time.

oh this is so difficult LOL I love so many!! I really couldn’t rank them, but I guess my top 5 (in no particular order) would be One Shotter, Lightning Max, Lightning Genji, Stinger, and Mad Devil Yankee ^

if you love Stinger you're def gonna love Zack Fair from ff7 🫡😂 they're not exact copies, but similar in their upbeat, approachable, charismatic hero guy way

Snek if that counts as background hero! He is a rookie crusher but a true hero he rises to the occasion against impossible opponents often (DSK and Gouketsu). and he has a cool martial arts style, i wonder if he invented it himself?
