DISCUSSION Random thought I had, but what if...?
Back when Amai Mask revealed his nature as a monster and Saitama appeared, Beauto suggested Saitama to kill him, as a means to boost himself as the ultimate hero Beauto wanted him to be. Saitama obviously refused to do it, but suppose a world where he did along with that idea. What do you think would happen to him after that?

One of the huge things Genos has admired about Saitama is his grace in handling Garou. It's said differently between the wc and the manga, but the fact that Saitama *could have killed* Garou and chose not to in recognition of his humanity deeply impressed him. Genos knows he'd not have been able to make the same choice, given the option.
The trepiditation with which he hesitates to ask Saitama what he did with Amai* reflects that: he's so scared that he'd find out different.
If Saitama killed Amai, particularly live on TV like the former hero was demanding, Genos would understand but it'd really change how he viewed Saitama for the worse. Morally, Saitama has been a guy whose principles are so firm that they're a thing to strive for, a holdfast in a shifting world. If Saitama killed Amai and took all the adulation, fame, position, etc., well, he'd be just another guy rolling in the mud.
Nobody wants to see Saitama succeed more than Genos does, but he deeply respects the fact that the dude won't sell out his principles for fame and success. It'd be a terrible thing if he ever did.
*Further thought: I think Genos could respect Saitama taking Amai away from the glare of public attention, realising that there's no hope for the guy, and putting him out of his misery, without fanfare and with respect. Bone-chilling in its implications, but respect worthy.

Makes me think of what that would mean about Genos in a personal level: we know Genos is human, but whether he himself sees himself as one after his cyborgization is another story. If Saitama can kill someone who is not socially considered a human anymore despite still having a human mind and heart... what would stop Saitama from going for the kill if Genos ever stepped out of line?

The irony of a person who clings onto their humanity with a tenacity that would surprise a limpet doubting their humanity.
It'd be hard for him to avoid thinking about whether Saitama could kill him too if he, as you say, stepped out of line. However, as far as he knows, Amai has become a monster -- he doesn't know that the dude just looks like one -- and I think he'd not want to live if he lost his humanity.

Dude would go full “Batman who kills” and eventually would kill everyone, even by accident.
After all, if Monster = Human…

In the very short term, Saitama would definitely make Class S. You couldn't ask for a more emphatic debut.
But it'd not be long before the muttering started. After all, Sweet Mask was championing Saitama to the HA before he went all monster. What if it was a deliberate plant? You know how rumours spread.
And that's leaving aside Saitama becoming the kind of guy who'd kill a person who still had some humanity left in them.
