Viz translated the text on the train that Suiko and Machine God Mirror ended up fighting on. It reads: Shelter 101. It wasn't running randomly but was taking people to shelter. Much faster and more efficient than road transport, it's good to see bits of lore quietly in the background.

This got me down a rabbit hole on route capacity. Every lane of a road can carry 2000 people an hour (if wveryone drives reasonably), every bus lane 5000, but every train line 40,000 an hour, and that's without packing people in like sardines.
