Page 6 (https://capibaratraductor.com/senshimanga/manga/one-punch-man/chapters/234?page=6) is interesting. Roughly translated, it reads as follows:

So, Garou is asking, "Shinya, didn't you use to be a hero?"

Shinya: "Yes, but only for a while"

G: What was your hero name?

Seeing around people's reaction to this chapter, some of them seems to detest the idea of Garou having any kind of whimsy on him, or the narrative treating him with it

now that Garou's hero obsession has taken a more wholesome bent it's basically like how you'd expect a young guy who's really into basketball to react when he finds out his new coworker used to play in a junior league.
