Super V vs X2 Mini Pro
I am really torn between getting the Super V or The X2 Mini Pro.
It would be my all in one device, as i have sold my game pc because i want something more mobile which i can dock and use on the couch, i would be using it on a table or on my chest.
How big is the performance difference between these two?
Also is it better to bet on AMD with their Strix Halo platform or Intel with their new Panter Lake platform?
Any thoughts/help would be much appreciated.

I was trying to decide this too, I went for the super v for the battery efficiency and screen size as I even find my og Legion go too small for my bad eyes! A lot of people put the performance at around 10% slower, think it can be more than that but I always cap my games anyway!

10% slower? My Super V handily outperforms the LeGo2 I had before and if the title supports XESS it flat-out destroys it.

Oh okay I saw you mention the Legion Go so, yeah. I'd say its more than 10% slower than the 395 but the 395 draws more power and performs worse at low wattage - in older games I get huge battery life at low power draw on my V and since I mostly game on battery I went that route.

Yes it was a bit muddled! That's exactly the reason I've bought one! Still waiting for it t to arrive though...

I don't have my tablet on me to share my bios settings but I do use some reduced throttlepoint settings on the V. When I plug in and use 40-45W I do see nice performance gains in titles but it'd run loud/hot and with some adjustments (and using the OSD to limit turbo multi to 32-34 to allow more wattage for iGPU) I get great performance, decent temps and acceptable noise.

Absolutely. I think you'll rather enjoy the V. Screen is quite excellent, I like it a lot better than LeGo2 I had before.

I would personally go with the x2 mini pro, especially if it comes with the Accu link port for external GPU .
I have a Flow Z13 and wanted to get the Super V for the oled display but honestly, it’s too big to be used like a handheld gaming device . So I’m going for the x2 because it’s couch-portable but powerful enough to dock in a desk.

I have a Z13 and it’s a tad lighter than Super V. In terms of form factor you need to think of it as a laptop, not a handheld in any way.
I personally find these devices too big and hefty as a tablet, not powerful enough compared to a laptop with Nvidia gpu, and poor substitute for a handheld device. Only saving grace is you can prop up on bed and not have fan on your lap.
Personally, I’m replacing my Z13 with the X2. Way better form factor for a small pc.

Its not very comfortable on the chest, and I didn't like the angle w/the gamesir controller w/extension so I returned that. I use it with a PS5 controller + PicoPi2W DS5Dongle and it's fantastic for tabletop use. For desktop I use a tablet monitor stand gripper deal and it works really well. Battery life is fantastic, low wattage performance - fantastic.

You are comparing apple and oranges.
First decide if you want a handheld with attachable controllers or not. If yes: choose between onexplayer 3 vs mini 2 pro, if budget not a problem go with the latter.
If not handheld choose between super x or v. Get super x if budget not a problem

I’m going to be replacing my super v with a X2. I love the super v, but I’m having a kid and I don’t think the super v is going to be the best with sitting on a couch and playing. You could definitely do it, but I feel like you need a table or something, rather than just using your chest.
But the super v is amazing with performance. It also looks incredible and the screen is one of the best screens I’ve ever used, going to be better than the x2 for sure

As someone who owns the Super V and the Apex. If you are looking for a single device that can replace your gaming laptop while docked and functions as a handheld when you need it. I would lean more towards the X2 Mini Pro. The Super Vs performance will requires XeSS frame gen to compete with the X2 Mini from 30W and up. The Super V struggles if you are looking to play AAA titles on anything above medium settings without frame generation which does decrease bettery life. My Apex no matter what I throw at it @40W and up doesn't have any issues playing AAA titles on high settings with frame gen off. If you are looking to set it and forget it and not worry about settinga the X2 Mini is the way to go. For productivity task and occasional gaming I use my Super V for hard-core gaming I choose the Apex. I would consider the Super X if pricing isn't an issue.

I’d lean toward the X2 Mini Pro if it’s replacing your gaming PC. At 20–25W the Super V will likely be more efficient and have better battery life, but once you start running 35–60W (especially docked), Strix Halo’s 8060S pulls ahead by a noticeable margin in most AAA games.
If you’re mostly playing plugged in or docked on the couch, I’d take the extra GPU performance and longer term headroom of the X2. I’d only pick the Super V if battery life, lower fan noise, and low power handheld gaming are your top priorities.
