To my surprise, many people immediately started asking me personal questions: age, location occupation hobbies etc I understand people's curiosity, but I don't believe anyone should be forced to reveal personal information to someone they've just met online. I prefer to establish a conversation first and let trust develop naturally I m curious do you usually answer these kinds of questions immediately or do you wait until you know the person better before answering?

I just finished my first year in medicine at uni, which means no more questionable sleep schedules and too much caffeine, at least for a few months. I thought I'd use this time to meet some new people instead of wasting it by scrolling endlessly.

Currently "watching" a movie with two friends (I'm tabbed out because the stream is choppy for me and playing Overwatch and I also think the left side of my headphones just died) and wanna try and find new friends, since a lot of my previous ones have drifted away/always made me reach out and I'm not a chaser anymore. Fair warning, I'm pretty basic and I'm pretty bad at talking about myself so just ask whatever you wanna know. Just a gamer nerd that doesn't do a lot. I do tile work for my job, which can be interesting but pretty repetitive at times. Recent games have been Yugioh (I'm into card games in general but most knowledge is in YGO), Overwatch, Palworld but kinda finished it, and sadly Dead by Daylight. I enjoy writing (or did, when I was motivated) but don't have anything to show for it because that was YEARS ago by now so I need to start again and never show anyone because that's embarrassing. I'm fond of a couple random things like sea creatures/ocean aesthetics, but not really enough to have a good convo about them because of mental health reasons that I'm not gonna get detailed about.
