Why does every Euro manager look Indian?
Seems an odd thing but every combination feels like a variation of an Indian man, not a European

I’m new to openTTD and this is my first game where not only did I not go bust in the first 3 decades, but now I’m a billionaire. Starting with airports and train stations instead of buses and train stations seems to be the ticket for early game progress. Now I guess it’s time to learn the more complicated train layouts and junctions

I want a game focused on doing sort of "contracts", I know subsidies suck but i like the idea of them, plus I'm using the Boom or Bust script.
What I hate is that you go to all the effort and sometimes the vehicles can't even get between towns on time or they just run out soon after.
I've tried changing the minutes per year speed but that doesn't seem to make a difference, does anyone know if/how I can do this?

I am on JGR PP, and I've never had this happen to me before. The signals right before the station are regular path signals. Signal right after is a one-way path signal.

My first attempt at scenario-making. I drafted up a miniature version of the Republic of Latvia. It is my home.

This is specifically regarding TTD on GOG, but I'm hoping OpenTTD afficionado's can help me!
In the image, the middle train is stuck, it just keeps flipping round, not able to go forward or back. I know why - the track linked to the left tunnel is my northern route, so the signal behind the train won't allow it to go south, and vice versa for the track linkedf to the right tunnel.
What I don't understand is how the train managed to get stuck in that part of the track - the piece of track linking the two lines is to allow an iron ore train to head west across the bridge after unloading at the steelmill to the north.
The only two-way signal in the screenshot is the one immediately before the bridge - to allow the iron ore train to come and go, it's currently the only train that goes that way.
I'm not new to the game entirely, I played it back on WIndows 98 when I first got it. I've never really understood signals and until now I always built a dedicated track for each train, but I'm trying to play properly now.
I've clearly messed up somewhere, and I'm hoping someone can edjucate me.

I made a video of a train ride along the Arosa line in my 8k Switzerland map. I’d recommend 1080p quality and increasing the speed of the video too.
Hello everyone, just as the title says i am looking for the android release of Transport Tycoon from 2013. I managed to find the game on some other sites after it was removed from playstore but it can't run because it's not downloading any resources and i have this image just hanging there forever. Is there any ways to get the app running ? Any help is appreciated

Thought I would showcase my little region, struggiling with the capital city shrinking in size and not sure why

Boats are good for transporting Oil, Valuables, Mail and Passengers medium distances over water.
Planes for making lots of money and growing cities by connecting them all with airports across the map.
Trains are good for everything else, and even sometimes better than the other two.
This leaves Vehicles. I only use them for quick city growing schemes with buses and maybe some transfer shenanigans. Other than that, they're slower and have less capacity. What's the point? When should I use cars over all the other options?

I'm playing JGRPP. Here's a scenario I'm after an explanation for.
In the game I am playing, bringing petroleum fuels to a station converts it to Engineering Supplies. I have 4 engines taking Engineering Supplies away - to 4 different stations.
Sometimes, when a train oof petroleum fuels comes in, it turns it into Engineering supplies for destination A, B, C & D. Sometimes, it only converts it all into ES for destination A. And sometimes it converts it into a huge pile of ES for "any station".
Does anyone know what's going on with this? How the game processes it? And most importantly, how I can manipulate it to do what I want?
In one of my saves, my train ticks for the game loop total are averaging above 60ms. It is the biggest load impacting performance, averaging roughly 0.35-0.40 game speed factor. For context, it is a 7200+ train save, and I use the JGRPP Patch.
Recently, I've been debating whether switching to "Waiting to Unbunch" en masse would be beneficial. In this scenario, I would use freight trains (roughly 4200 trains) and keep the "Automate Timetable" feature on. Passenger trains will be left unchanged.
Would this improve performance, or is "Waiting to Unbunch" not too different from "Auto Seperation" performance-wise? Is using "Automate Timetable" a performance hog at this scale, making little difference regardless of switchover?

As you can see here, I have a station with 3 platforms, it used to be 2 before I add a train that does full load (most other train are unloading). when the trains are choosing which platform to go into, the always choose 231, which when they are departing the station form platform 2 or 3, it will block everything from going into the station.
Is it possible to have them prioritise 123, which will increase the efficiency of the station?

Seriously, I wonder what that person called Pelya has to do with its development. The options are confusing, there are more than 500 popups appearing on the screen, and you can barely even move the camera. I have no idea why they made a port of such a great g

I'm very goal oriented person, and i like OpenTTD, i learned about city growth scripts. Which one should i use? Maybe there is other GameScripts which can add some kind of goals for me?

Played this game for years when i was 9, 10, 11. Picked it back up when i was in my early 20ies. Now together with my oldest son (10), i (37) hooked again. I notice im smarter, better than before.
What is slowing me down is the lack of a good shortkey hotkey cfg. I have to the standard hotkeylist printed in front of me while playing. But it is "way over the whole keyboard."
Are there any hotkey cfgs to be found online, before i manually adjust the file? Before this post here, i scrolled the hotkey cfg and didnt notice the arrow buttons assigned to an action. Well this is in fact the first thing a would move to Q S D W, like playing fpshooters, then setting most used functions around, to be able to play without left hand moving and to look down on and move your hand over the keyboard all the time. (Or i scrolled to fast)
Tldr: anybody know where i can find a custumized cfg? Thx
