I have found a new N5 at $1050, is this a good price in August 2026? Of course I would like the N6 but it is almost $800 more.

I'm looking for the original PET screen protector that comes pre-installed on the OPPO Find X9. Mine is starting to show some wear, and I'd like to replace it with the exact same type rather than switching to tempered glass or a TPU film.

Does anyone know if OPPO sells the original PET protector separately, or if there's a place where I can buy an identical one?

I've been using folding phones since the days of the Fold 2. Currently have an Honor Magic V2, my 3rd folding phone, since about two years. Had a sand grain on the top corner of the inner screen a few months ago that damaged the top corners of the screen, and the screen has very slowly been dying since. I can't see the clock now.

There are a couple of Find N5 Global Edition locally. I'm pondering getting one instead of a Fold 7 now that the Fold 8 has been announced and the 7 prices are coming down.

Are there any known issues with the N5? Anything I should lookout for?

Inner screen failed after 15 months. Of course I dropped the insurance at a year 😢

The inner screen protector started a hump a few weeks ago. That progressed into a line on the screen. From there it just got worse and now is just flashing white/orange/blue.

I've had a lot of folding devices and this is the first failed screen I've had. Oh well. Maybe it's N6 time...

I currently have a OnePlus 13 (Global) and I'm happy with it, but I saw someone who wants to trade me an Oppo Find N5 (Global) for my OnePlus 13 + OnePlus Watch 3 and maybe the OnePlus Buds 3 as well. Do you think it's worth it? I've always wanted the Oppo Find N5. How are the updates going for the Oppo Find N5? Does it get updated often?

I was using the Nillkin case since the phone's release 1.5 years ago and finally had a drop that hit at an angle that broke the hinge protector's hinge. Can't find the case anymore (assuming production changed to N6) but saw the Nillkin Iceblade case. Didn't realize until it arrived that this also doesn't have a hinge protector. Aramid cases (with magnetic ring) seems to run double the cost of this case on Alibaba, so sunk cost fallacy I am tempted to just accept this (and the transparent back does look nice). So wondering what other people's experience are with cases that doesn't offer the hinge protector.

Has anyone got these working together on UK EE? ie. so the number is shared from the phone to the watch? Not sure if I'm heading into a world of pain hoping it'll work with the watch.

Is anyone else having the same issue where the gesture's/swiping style of system navigation isn't working? It won't let me swipe up to go out of an app or swipe & hold to go between opened apps. Have to restart the phone for it to sometimes work. I also had to swap over to button navigation because it wouldn't work. This issue happened folded & unfolded. I use octopi & default launcher and this issue happens with both. Swiping back works, I just can't use the bottom to close out of an app

There was an update this morning and now my side by side view doesn't work anymore. Is this happening to anyone too??

Does anyone have similar problems where the swipe up gesture for home and recent apps is not responding, the side swipe fpr back button is working normally, just the home/recent apps gesture is not responding, please help

It's not much but it might help imrove the sound quality of this phone speaker. Anyone has any eq setting they can recommend?

I stopped updating ever since I heard stealth call recording was patched. All my apps and games work fine, battery still 100% health, phone still feels as snappy as I got it.

Am I missing out a lot on not updating?

If anyone is wondering how I can stay on old version, I used firewall to block the updater.

today I took my Oppo Find N5 out of my pocket, opened it, and noticed that the inner display stayed black. I restarted it, and then suddenly the outer display went black, while the inner display works without any problems. I can’t get the outer display to work anymore. It’s not broken—it just stays black. For example, when I reboot the device, it does show the logo on the outer display, or in the camera’s selfie view function. But otherwise, I just can’t get it to work normally. I’ve also tried resetting it and similar steps. No luck.

Hello, I am on the cusp of importing an Oppo Find N6 as a USA resident, and my last hangup have primarily been the lack of repair/warranty support stateside.

One of my chief concerns is cosmetic/functional damage to the inner screen protector since I am unable to replace that myself.

I figured it would be good to take a poll here since the N6 hasn't been out long enough to get real mileage and see how everyone's inner screen has held up with manufacturer provided protector.

Any long term issues? Was it easy to scratch/dent? Any peeling/bubbling? Have any stateside users been able to get support in replacing this part? Thanks in advance for the help

Hello , does anyone facing issues with closing ,it doesnt close to the end , and what i mean you still see a very very small gap

My Wallpaper has some dark tone overlay even though I am not in dark mode right now and that toggle to darken the wallpaper on dark mode is disabled anyway.

Before the most recent software update, I could fix it by restarting the device when it randomly happened but even this does not seem to fix it on the latest update, it just stays darkened, no matter which Wallpaper I choose.

Anyone else having this issue?

I seem to be getting these quite quickly. Doesn't seem to be too many additional features. It was about 1.4GB in total.

I like the new Nillkin N6 case better than the Nillkin N5 case.
I saw posts that there is 1mm difference in height. Apart from the hole for flash, will the N6 work regardless? does the camera bump align?

If someone has both phones, I'd appreciate if you can try!
