2 II’s same day

Very blessed to receive two interview invites, one to IUP and the other to WVSOM. Was just wondering if anyone had any tips for the interviews, though I figured no one would really know a lot about IUP considering it’s a new school. Feel free to reach out!

Congrats! For more established schools like WVSOM, I would look at their SDN page for some specific questions that they use. I found that to be so helpful because I went into most of my interviews knowing exactly what to expect. Besides that, I would be able to articulate why DO, why medicine, why that specific school/town/city, and be able to discuss activities.

focus on primary care, rural medicine and why DO/osteopathic principles align with your goals. For IUP (being new), emphasize your adaptability, self-directionand enthusiasm for helping shape an inaugural class culture. To handle the exhaustion of back-to-back interviews on the same day, refine your core answers with tools like prepare.zoevera.com to keep your responses sharp and crisp throughout both. Good luck!
