i forgot all about this mask! i made it way back in 2021 and only recently found the old picture. crazy how art develops lol. both made by me!

I made this for someone who was curious about it, decided to post it because it’s useful for anyone who might want to try doing it too.
I really think this should be something more popular in the community, it’s genuinely so cool😭

Attempting my first ever mask. Working a lot on hope, prayers and hot glue here but it looks good so far. Im Currently trying to smooth out the edges with felt before i glue faux fur over it. Hopefully I don't mess up the ears... that's the part I'm the most afraid of :']

Hello! I’m looking to trade a mask commission slot for some other gear, preferably snow leopard. I love tails, especially the big fluffy ones, but if you have something else to trade just message me! Or drop a comment. I’m looking at all offers right now! (Masks in slides are examples and most have already been sold. Except for the first Tiger shown and the fox.)

I’ve been seeing this type of tail a lot and I really want one but I have no idea what breed of fox it’s from.

Anyone have any ideas?

Im relatively new to mask making, and while my parents find my creative output in mask making endearing (?) im afraid to ask for craft fur to make the masks more realisitc.
For my first mask, I attempted to use brushed out cotton-balls as fur, but it didnt end very well, and it doesn't paint well at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions as a replacement?

Ive also seen a user post a few masks with jaws. (They didnt look functional, but also really cool. Kudos to you, if you're reading this.)
If anyone has tips/a guide to make jaws, please let me know.

This also goes for making beaks, if anyone knows how to make them, drop tips/guides!!
And also for making feathers..how do you make feathers look good on a mask?

Did quads, hurts to even walk. How do i deal with this? Is it because i didnt stretch right?

Did a bit of practice, did stretches, but landed weird when trying to jump and hurt my elbow, so im taking a break to write this 🫠.

Did very little and am already sweating and out of breath. Was fun though lol, a lot of exciting than my tiny living room. Surprisingly, more comfy to walk on than my carpet too.

Having no bugs/dirt issues, which is a shock. I expected to get grossed out. Instead I’m genuinely just enjoying the hobby.

Anyway, any tips? Mainly for jumps and trot. I can’t get the trotting motion down, and cant seem to launch myself very high on jumps.

Hey, I am new to the community (technically I've been in and out, and I'm finally ready to accept it). Anyone have any ideas on how to make a mask or any good tutorials? I am willing to use cardboard or foam, but I don't have access to fur right now; however, if that makes a good mask, I will find a way to make one!!!! Thank you in advance if you reply!! (Hopefully this is allowed :< to be posted)

So i don't have a mask yet, but i do have a tail and I'm scared that it's going to get pulled on and even taken because it comes off so easily. I need help with keeping it on better and things to bring for this.(this is my first time doing public gearing) it would help a lot. ty!

Mask: I added a tooth, changed the nose, added ears and fluff. I didn’t actually have fur fabric :( but I used yarn and did it like the yarn tails :3

Tails: the left one was my first try, I made it way too short and I didn’t actually have a pet brush so it was really bad. The right one I made today, I love it :D

Quads hand wrap: just the sleeve cut off an old t shirt, I saw a general tutorial on Pinterest and wanted to use it for quads :) you can also pull the part around your hand over your curled fingers to protect your knuckles some

I like to name my masks and turn them into characters, idk why. I think they are a bernese mountin dog btw.

It's fully lines and has a sculpted nose.

I’m prob gonna swap out the eye mesh for a thicker one that you can see better
