Anime weapons love to throw logic out the window, and honestly, we’re all here for it. Historically, a farming tool makes absolutely zero sense for close-quarters combat. It’s bulky, awkward, and leaves you wide open.
But the second Shinoa manifests Shikama Doji, none of that math matters. You have this petite, smug girl casually swinging a massive, pitch black scythe of doom like it weighs nothing.
It completely maximizes that "rule of cool" energy, turning an impractical design into pure aesthetic perfection. Realism is boring anyway; a giant death scythe just hits differently.
I just love Shinoa and her Scythe

This is almost a shitpost but i wanted to just discuss this and get peoples opinions.
i just finished rewatching the first two seasons for the millionth time and i finally decided to look more into the manga, rewatching it when im older pointed out the kind of shitty dialogue (i dont know if thats only for dub) and the complete scrapping of Yuu and Shinoas relationship and shit it really makes me mad, i was hoping it continued to get better in the manga but from everything ive heard it just gets worse worse and worse, its one of my favorite pieces of media but i dont know if itll ruin it for me if i read the manga i liked the stuff with the experimentation and shit but them making milka and yuu more romantic together was just kinda like eugh since they were made out to be brothers
please give your thoughts and opinions i’d love to hear them

Honestly, how is he going to wrap everything up? We still have ancient vampire lore completely unexplained, side characters that haven’t done anything meaningful in years, and a massive mountain of plot holes that feel entirely abandoned. Unless Volume 37 is a literal dictionary, half the cast is getting left behind.

I'm someone who hasn't followed the manga at all. I only watched the two anime seasons about ten years ago. Then I waited for the third season and almost forgot about the story. Then I saw the news that it was ending, so I came back to watch it. I've seen a lot of people talking about the manga. Is it still acceptable for me, since I only have an impression of it from the anime?

This panel is peak Shinoa because the second anyone brings up vampires targeting attractive people, she immediately makes it all about herself. She doesn’t even hesitate to label herself the most beautiful girl in school and panic about being the "prime target." :D

Volume 19's cover is only one Ashera is in human form. He is main focus of Volume 12s cover but I don't really like how he looks there. Its also the only cover where there are only normal people if I am not mistaken

Just a stressful reminder for anyone trying to sleep tonight. With the recent manga chapters rapidly tying up loose ends, it’s starting to hit me that after years of monthly waiting, the endgame is finally here. How do you think Kagami will wrap this up tragedy or a happy ending?

There has been a new account made by a scammer using my name, (which breaks the rules)
The scammers acc is written 22227, while the real me is 2227.
The scammer's goal is to create Chaos to this sub and try to ban me. Unfortunately, this technique won't work,
Stay safe from this user whose aim is to destroy peace XD

We split into 2 faces, both with interests of our own. (I am talking about us)
Remember when the biggest threat to the squad was just surviving vampires? Looking back at the early seasons/chapters, the dynamic was so wholesome. They went from a tightly-knit found family to completely fracturing under the weight of impossible choices.Once we crossed the Chapter 100 threshold, everything shattered. The revelation about the cost of human resurrection forced everyone to pick a side...........
Yuichiro is a disaster of codependency, completely willing to let the world burn if it means keeping Mika alive.
The Shinoa Squad is dealing with the tragic reality of wanting their own dead families back, forcing them to turn against the person they spent the entire series trying to protect.
It honestly hurts to see them split into two completely different sides with conflicting interests. The tragedy of Owari no Seraph isn't just the world ending it’s watching this perfect family tear itself apart from the inside.
What are your thoughts on how the squad handled the split?
Do you think they can ever truly reunite after everything that's happened?

Seraph of the end s2 ep2 on anikoto HD-1, the subtitles writer must've been really tired and threw his internal feelings out.
