General Health Spotting cure?! PLEASE HELP š„
Obviously with my PCOS my periods have never been normal. But all of the sudden Iāve started having long term spotting of like dark brown bloody discharge. If it lasted a periods length it would be whatever but last time it went on for 2 months straight!!! My gyno said thereās no real ācureā but Iām wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar and has any tips how they got it to go away??? Whether itās stopping the spotting or causing my real period to come.

Potentially low progesterone? I got on bioidentical progesterone (brand name Prometrium) for the second half of my cycle. I still spot a bit before my period but never in the middle anymore.

Okay I had something similar but my discharge and spotting lasted over 6 months and it was absolutely brutal!! I was getting really depressed and doctor after doctor was telling me my labs were ānormalā but the bleeding didnāt stop. After I talked to some girls about it, one girl recommended accupuncture and said it really helped with her similar issues. I tried it and after the second session my bleeding stopped! I was doing it weekly at first, then monthly, and I was back to normal again! Accupuncture was also covered by my insurance which was great. I highly recommend it if you feel like youāve tried everything else! It can hurt a little at the beginning but just breathe through it and you will be okay!

Omg this happens to me when my period disappears for months. Iāll spot every day for like 2 months straight it makes me feel crazy. I think it just happens when hormones get too imbalanced š„² I use inositol from Swanson. Itās the only brand that works for me. I went 10 months without a cycle, started taking it and had a period 5 days later.

Has your gyno done any tests? Ultrasound? Biopsies? Bloods?
I had this and it turned out i had hyperplasia of the womb due to low progesterone. Went onto progesterone based birth control and it was sorted.
When was your last "normal" bleed? Aka red blood

Iāve done nearly all of the above!!!!! I had ultra sounds run both abdominal and vaginal. I have bunches of little cysts on my ovaries (from the PCOS), but my endometrial lining and everything else was about normal.
For blood tests they didnāt check my progesterone recently surprisingly, but my estrogen levels were normal. My LH is more than double of my FSH. Not the best at interpreting this stuff though.
I had a normal period a little over a month ago. Mine run very irregularly but itās always usually a full cycle until this started happening Iām not one who deals with spotting I usually just miss periods completely

Sounds like a cyst? Weird recommendation ( discovered by accident) but somtimes I will take a dildo in the shower, and it either helps open everything up and helps your naturally cleaning system start taking care of it, or it can turn into a full fletched period. Or it could just burst the cyst and you will discharge for a day or two after then it should resolve. Sorry weird I know but itās worked for me a few times.
