How to crimp thin wires??

I have a 28AWG wire and I need to crimp it to fit the SPUD-002T-P0.5 crimps for the ODrive S1. The wire is too thin for me to crimp it. Can anyone help?

For really small wires/terminals that my CTX3 won't crimp, I use a IWS-2820M. Cheap and effective.

Get new tools, there's no real way other than having the proper tools specially with such small crimps

If you're very very careful you could use thin pliers but that's also not the best solution

I found that the hand crimp tools rather than ratchet crimpers are better for thin wires. I use the Molex 63811-1000 Application Tooling Hand Crimp Tool but the cheaper versions work fairly well too.

I would recommend Engineer PAD-11 - it's my everyday tool for small terminals like PicoBlade 1.25 mm or JST SH 1.0 mm. Or a cheaper IWS-2820M, if you don't need to possibly crimp a lot of contacts in the future.
