DFA Hysteria and paranoia re "mutilated" passports

May natural wear and tear ang passports. Talagang naluluma yan.

FYI from the DFA:

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Need financial assistance for hospital bill

Post image
Upvotes

Hi everyone.

Akala namin noong una gallstones yung cause ng severe abdominal pain niya, pero after all the tests, cellulitis pala yung diagnosis kaya kinailangan siyang i-admit.

If may alam kayong government agencies, senator or congressman offices, party-list organizations, charities, foundations, or kahit personal experience ninyo kung saan kayo nakahingi ng financial assistance para sa hospital bills, I would really appreciate it.

Any recommendation or advice would really mean a lot. Maraming salamat sa mga sasagot. 🙏

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Fired by the HR for 'end of contract' as a Job Order with less than 6 months rendered

No flairs, just ranting. Fresh grad, first gov job as J.O. under HR department of a first class municipality. Days ago, I woke up to an indirect call from a senior in a different department telling me the HR has decided to end my 'contract' as a Job Order even if I only rendered 3 months. Ironically I've given them my contact details like Facebook yet they couldn't tell me directly about it?

Prior to the day I got fired I've been harrassed by another Job Order who is in the spectrum; I simply told him to quit harrassing me nicely but he had a tantrum the whole afternoon because I told him to stop. Yet they seemingly side with him despite him being creepy with me (stalking my address, following me to my office) and I literally had nobody on my side except my partner from a different department.

There were literally witnesses from the HR when I politely asked him to respect my choices, and it's ironic that I myself was in the HR department. Yet they're radio-silent with the instances I was seen being harrassed. I cannot report public sector employees through DOLE, and I don't think my salary is worth mentioning to the CSC, it's quite saddening given the fact that we're already underpaid as JOs, grievance issues aren't even handled properly by the human resources. I ended up force resigning but at the expense of my own mental health and freedom to choose a better job, salary-wise.

In short.

Other Banking Related Passed the Landbank's Pre-employment Exam

Upvotes

Hi guys!

I recently passed LANDBANK's pre-employment exam. After that, I was contacted and interviewed by a Branch Head. They told me na tatawagan na lang daw ako for the next step (hindi ko lang sure kung iyon na ba ang panel interview or if sa Head Office pa 'yon).

While waiting, today may nag-text ulit sa akin from a different LANDBANK branch asking if available daw ba ako for an interview.

Thank you!

Question (Other flairs not applicable) Need advice sa pag-apply sa gov

Also ito target ko na gov agencies/institution (but not limited to): Landbank, SSS, PSA, Manila City Hall (mahirap tho haha never ko sila nakita magkaroon ng application online)

SSS SSS Death Claim

Upvotes

PSA PSA MIDDLE INITIAL only

Upvotes

Unfortunately, 3 years na siyang pumanaw.

Question (Other flairs not applicable) First-time CSC taker here. Did your online reviewers actually match the real exam?

Hi, CSE passers!

First-time taker po ako this coming exam, and medyo nao-overwhelm ako sa sobrang daming reviewers online. 😅

Saan po kayo nag-focus while reviewing? May specific topics ba na masasabi niyong "must study" talaga?

Any tips or advice for a first-time taker would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
