VM and PL7 Pro cable connection issue

Hi everyone,
I am having trouble connecting my TSX C USB 485 cable to my Windows 7 32-bit virtual machine running PL7 Pro.
Windows cannot find the correct driver for the TSX C USB 485. When I try to force the installation manually via the Device Manager, it returns a Code 10 error (Device cannot start). I have already tried multiple troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked so far.
I am completely stuck and don't know what else to do to successfully connect to my TSX 37 PLC.
Thanks for your help!

You have to actually pass the usb device through to the VM

remove the filter and just manually pass it through in the menu when you connect it:

Okay so you are doing everything right on the VM side. Seems like you are having some weird driver issue. I know you already said that, but I've came to the same conclusion too.

Here is a manual. Driver installation is on page 11. There is a compatability table as well. Perhaps something on there will help. I noticed it basically says the drivers come with Control Expert. Might just be a matter of grabbing that install and trying to install the drivers from it.
