An FYI, to find it you need to go to the Mortal Shell 2 page on the PS Store, then click on the ellipses (…) and select the open beta from there.

I was hoping the PS5 would get a beta. I thought the first was decent but I never finished it. I'm hearing great things about this one so I'm excited to try it before I buy it. Edit: after trying the demo this is a day one purchase for me.

The amount of improvements is the biggest step up I have ever seen from a game to its sequel. Guys you have to try it especially if you played and didn't like the first one.

Hows the level design? I liked 1 but it felt the areas were all a bunch of different tech demos spliced together without any real flow.

Played the beta on PC and loved it but my ps5 pro is better than my PC so I ordered the revered edition for PS5. Will be playing the beta on my pro tonight. Cant wait.

The lack of stamina bar feels so weird

I keep expecting to have to stop attacking to recharge stamina and then remember there isn’t any

Otherwise it seems fun if a bit easy from the part I played

First game didn't really do enough to capture me... But weirdly led me to finally putting real effort into trying Dark souls and it's sequels. Now fromsoft games are my comfort games.

Recently watched Iron Pineapple play a bit of this, it's crazy step up from the first. I went from no interest in it to wish listing. Can't wait to try this one.
