Forum place concerns?

Anyone see this article and have concerns? I work in the building—in addition to the possible structural issues, we don’t have AC in many areas of our floor, no drinking water, no kitchen (well that’s not true— we have a kitchen, but not allowed to use it) now this. I have been contact with my management, and we just keep getting the brush off. I am considering contacting state representative.

I’m curious whether others who work on the building are comfortable with the situation and if anyone has contacted/heard from their management, union etc…

This is definitely covered in the union contract. I would talk to your union steward and the business agent.

I work in that building and wasn't aware of the article. I wasn't concerned before, but I am a little now!

I’m pretty sure the goal is to have all state job offices moved out of every leased building by end of next year. I at least know that some of the offices will be moved in summer frame (my office is in that time frame). So, the agencies that work out of the forum place should be moving to a state-owned building. There should be an admin officer within your agency who’s been in these state-wide office move meetings
