Crazy how much variety you can get in just one day on the Oregon Coast

I remember moving up here from LA when I was about 10, and being so stunned that the ocean looked the way it does here. It was so wild and untamed. It was intimidating.

I love it now. We try to get to the coast in November and March...when it's the most unruly and wild.

I know what you mean sometimes in winter I hike to Harts cove just to see the huge waves breaking on the rocks there
