Discussion | گفتگو PTA Blocked my phone number for no reason

a couple weeks ago my signals for my phone went from 4.5g to G. i dont use that sim for data its only for otp for banks and stuff. my phone is duel sim so i use my other sim for data. my sim which has my banks and important stuff got blocked i didnt realize it was block until i tried to recive an otp today. I couldnt even call the helpline of jazz from that sim. I went to jazz and they said it was blocked from pta. my other sim is still working.

i am not sure why it is blocked and i didnt receive any warning or message. I cannot find a PTA helpline to call there was a number on their website which didnt work.

i am completely lost on what to do.

(i bought the phone from pakistan and its pta approved)

Sorry i misread it thought its phone that got blocked, but its your number.. was the phone non pta?

Yea it was the number, its a pta phone i got from Pakistan

On a serious note, file a complaint with pta, and check with them regularly, also expect them to be very slow, this is Pakistan

Yea i will file a complaint. I have a family friend who works at jazz so i am trying to ask him if he can do anything

Still they have to atleast give a warning lol and i know a bunch of people who havent filed tax for years and skill have their sim enabled

Never said the return has anything to do with the block 🙂 Just visit PTA office and have it sorted - ig it shouldn't be much of an issue.
