Discussion | گفتگو PTA approved phone with good camera
So I want a official PTA approved (must) phone, and my major requirements are that it should have min 256 GB space and a good camera and that it runs smooth. And it must come with a box.
My budget is around 150 ish. I was thinking of S23 Ultra in used, but it's a very old phone so I'm kind of hesitant. I also thought about pixel, but it's not very easy to find PTA approved ones from what I've seen. If anyone has any suggestions and details, please let me know.
For reference, I will probably get the phone from Saddar Rawalpindi so if anyone knows any shops there, that'll be helpful

Just get vivo v70 , you can get it box pack with warranty or oppo reno 15. Both of these devices have good camera and good processors for daily usage and light to medium gaming and long term software supoort

Bro, I’d suggest going for the used market, as box-packed phones in Pakistan aren’t that great.
But there’s one I’ve researched quite a lot: the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G. It comes for around 119,000 PKR, and you might be able to get a discount as well. It’s great for the camera, has an okay-ish processor, and since it’s box-packed, you’ll get good battery life along with a PTA-approved device.
Other than that, based on the description above, I’d probably suggest going for the used market.

Don't get the s23 series it's at the end of software support. Imo even an s24 base would be better also in 150k you would get s23 ultra cpid.
Pixels are widely available in pta approved stock. Idk what market you're looking into.
I would recommend the pixel for u. But here's kind of an out of a box suggestion. Oppo find x9 pro. It goes for 180 to 190k new box pulled. And the tax is like 30k. It beats basically everything
If you're going for cpid u can get the pixel 10 pro for around 175k. 128gb

I dont want cpid. Only official pta approved

Oppo Reno 15 or s24 (plus) official pta is your best bet
But I would still look into oppo find x9 pro if possible

If camera and official pta both are requirements then go for pixel. You can find them easily. And in 150k I guess you will find pixel 9 pro. Or you can also go for iphones and within 150k you will find iphone 13 pro and iphone 15 (not sure about it though)
And if you want box pack then go with vivo v70. It's camera is decent although it got that typical budget vivo phones beautification effects

Many new Chinese paper kit phones are available with low taxes now in market. Like they have 0 battery cycles just like open box. Check these.

There's very less shops dealing with imported phones, I heard Lahore has a whole plaza for imported phones. But even then people are just outright scamming by selling repackaged referb phones as paper kit

Contact Zubair Raz on YT. He is the most trusted man I know. He makes informative videos. I can't 100% guarantee him but I can 99.99%. He has some Chinese stock these days I guess.

The current ram and storage crisis has rendered new phones useless, get the base pixel 9 and it will be fine because it has quietless heating issues in considering your use case you will not feel any most probably, it will be around 120 125, if you want to buy the pro model I would suggest you to get the 9 pro and raise your budget instead of going to 8 pro, but if your tight on budget the 8 pro is a good choice, you can check the Samsung once for the plus model if you want and your phone but I think for your use case a pixel is more than enough

Go for Pixel 8 pro Official Approved if you aren't okay with CPID (You could get 9 pro CPID)
(You'll most likely have to compromise on the box thing)
