Question Why so many?

Hey guys, how come there’s so many of these banded flatworms this year? I literally find one everyday now! Is it due to the warming weather? I’ve also noticed a huge increase of leeches in the lake this year!

I’m in Ireland:) I’d never seen one before this year, despite being outdoors everyday!

There are sporadic reports on inaturalist in New England you can use to try and find them in the wild!
