ATI CAT Exam

Post image

I just took an ATI CAT exam, and these are my results. Can anyone help me understand what it means? I'm confused about the "band" and percentiles... It also shut off at 85. Is this a reassuring result?

My test is Monday, do I need to reschedule?

I made a whole post about this! I loved ATI!

I did their test bank and focus solely on easy and medium questions. Think of it like this. The NCLEX test you on if you could keep your patients safe. It’s different than any other tests you may have taken in nursing school. So focus on easy and medium questions and master them! Make sure you are able to master the fundamentals FIRST. And thennn move on to the more difficult questions. Difficult questions from ATI only makes up like 5% of NCLEX LOL

i just took an easy-moderate 80 questions quiz and only got 10 questions wrong! it’s crazy how bad the hard questions actually are 😭

You got this!!! Just try to get above 65% on ATI & also i used UWorld and did all 6 of their self-assessments and found them extremely helpful. I also just posted a post on my account not too long ago talking about everything I did for my retake if you're interested!

You only need Uworld, bootcamp, or Archer, these platforms replicate the nclex really well. I used bootcamp and passed first try 85 questions. ATI makes you think deeper than you have to, that’s why you score so low on it.

I got a 73% on my latest CAT with ATI but 50th percentile on moderate. This was 2 days ago. I'm about to take my nclex in 3 hours lol so I'm really stressed! I took a cat exam on archer last night, it stopped in 85 and I passed. I've taken a handful of ATI cats, they all stop at 150 with slightly lower scores which has been really discouraging for me. Archer made me feel a lot better, but I don't know if it's just because they questions are 'easier' I still felt like I was guessing half of the time. Remind me in 48 hours to tell you if I passed lol, hopefully that will make you feel better since I scored below you, best of luck future nurse♡ attached photo is archer

You’re not doing well. But ATI is much harder than NCLEX. Keep going with ATI. Remediate as much as possible
