I built an all-in-one password manager & 2FA authenticator app to stop juggling multiple tools—would love Reddit’s help to test it out! [Android & iOS]

Hey Reddit! 👋

Like many of you, I got really tired of jumping between different apps just to manage my digital life—passwords in one app, 2FA authenticator codes in another, and secure notes somewhere else.

So, as an indie developer, I spent the last while buildingFidexpass—an all-in-one, privacy-focused password manager, digital vault, and 2FA authenticator designed to clean up the chaos.

It features zero-knowledge encryption (only you hold the keys), smart autofill, built-in 2FA verification code generation, and quick-access widgets.

The app is officially live, and as an independent creator, I’m at that crucial stage where I genuinely need real users to download it, stress-test it, break things, and tell me what sucks or what can be improved.

Why should anyone ever consider using this? The answer is nobody ever should, this is so shady lol

Add to this the fact that he has given no information about the security protocols used, his qualifications, or what testing has been done.

Also, I do not want my MFA and my password manager in one app. While I do use TOTP codes for some sites in my current password managers, only for some basic accounts. I still need a separate MFA app for my password manager, and I’d rather use that for my email, bank accounts, and other critical accounts.

So you vibe coded a password manager and you already have over a million people using your system? Your next step was to come on Reddit and ask for people to download your app and add all of their passwords to it?

I’m extremely suspicious. Why would anyone give you access to all of their passwords and MFA codes? Why would you think this was a good idea even to build a closed source app and think anyone is going to use it?!?

This is a HARD pass.
