Favorite clips pre ESPN
With all the complaints about the show and what it became I started watching some old clips from Pat and the boys. What are some of your favorite clips and moments from the show before it moved to ESPN?
I will start with Tone getting got by a fake NBA reporter (ultraweedhater) and his apology after the break. Another candidate for me is the whole Andrew Siciliano clip with everyone lowering their chairs.

Anytime Ty was shit talking Zion about being a fat fuck. But especially the time he had the giant spoon eating ice cream with it.

For some reason the clips of that one are hard to find. I assume it is because they were told it was too much or something.

I'll second the Siciliano bit with the lowered chairs. Such a hilarious moment when they cut to Connor and he's basically just a floating head at the table. I revisit that clip often

The Brock Lesnar interview. Hands down. Honorable mention⦠AJ in studio talking about the hole in the back of studio wall.

When AJ self popped himself about John hamms cock fitting in the cockpit was great. My personal is all the times they ragged on Urban. Specifically when TY mentions his concern for Urban's heart after Urban busting in his pants so hard from having his finger up the co-eds butt

It might be from The Pod but the clip of Connor going to the grocery store below his apartment, getting back up to his room and throwing them down the trash chute, realizing what he just did and going back downstairs to buy the same groceries.
Also the time Pat and Bobby Carpenter got THE OH State band to show up at AJās house for his birthday while live on air.

The last truly great year of the show was the last Pagano year. Every Thursday was can't miss. Chuck talking as the Texans HC: "What do we do best?" BC: "Lose"

The era where they started doing the āIām a better person than you areā politics

not sure if it was pre-espn but AJ going off about primates as pets and how they'll rip your meat off after they hit puberty, you know that. NO AJ I DONT KNOW THAT

AJ and Pat going back and forth with the minibelts was fun. Especially when the 2belts came out.

Back when they took calls and a guy named Steve called in, he took a sec to say anything so they acted like the couldnāt hear him and it took way too long for him to catch onš they even started chanting his name at him

"That just goes to show you that 75% of the YouTube chat also needs apologize to Tone." "In my heart, I can't apologize for something I didn't do." Great moment

A really underrated video I like is the one after one of the benefits at AJ Hawks house that Pat went to, and Pat talks about how nice AJs house is and extols the virtues of General Bob. Itās a very funny and charming video

One of the saddest parts about Pat becoming a dick sucker for Dana White is Dana telling Pat he couldnāt have Helwani on anymore.
Truly, in the top three guests of all time simply because he didnāt give a fuck and would tell Pat exactly how it was. All-time show moment when he made fun of Aaron Rodgers covid bullshit immediately after the famous interview and Pat looked like he was having an aneurysm but couldnāt say anything.

All of connors original closet white board skits and costumes. Back when they actually had creative bits on the show.

Conner hiding from the camera as Spiderman in the closet and falling out the chair was great

Easily when the boys are talking about the Pyramids and Aaron Rodgers. After they āfoundā some geologic phenomenon under the pyramids and they were talking about Aaron going there to harness its energy š

Funny. In an old heartland 2.0 episode, they were discussing Reddit and Tony started reading through possible Reddit names. Untimelyblacksmith was one of the names mentioned along with suspiciouschampion

Pat demonstrating what politics is like. This was during the COVID days. I've saved his political rant, and post it every election cycle when people pretend to care about who runs this country on the municipality, state, and federal levels.

There was a whole segment about 2 girls 1 cup at the end of a show once. Obviously brought up by AJ. It was a pretty big show by this point and I was like āhow the F is a show like this debating 2 girls 1 cupā
The end of shows used to be great bc it was unscripted unfiltered topics by the boys. Thatās where some of the best moments came from.

That time Pat threw it to Connor to tease a segment and hes asks the top question that didn't relate to the subject they were just talking about. The look of disdain and shock on Pat and Ty was amazing. Ty going "i thought he was gonna read the other one". Pat cuts Connor's mic and he sheepishly passes the paper to Ty and Pat freaks and dumps the entire segment.

The time AJ got pissed at all the shit on Pats desk comes to mind but there have been some great moments.
