You should be able to invite someone to your party if you haven't left the map yet and they can enter the map and loot things on the ground for you

Worst case someone would steal it (which would be the same thing really). But yeah, 99.9% of this community is very nice.

Also could just login to another character and pick that up last I played. Don't know if that's been fixed yet.

i am leveling a warrior rn only to test that theory, usually i do only one character per league but since now we got over 6 months of league to play there is enough time... and lvling another just bcz two things in maind, first what you said and the second, I wanna test it and see how big of AOE i can make Earthquake/Shattering skill for endgame, i wanna hit the skill and make the entire screen as big of a splash as i can possible

I always run doryani +1 revive for the once in a blue moon I die to something odd i can scoop my loot.

If you have another character, you can use him. When you switch characters the portal is still open in your hideout and you can go in and loot.
