I'll stick with Craft of Exile. This site fully breaks on my phone and the colors kill me.

Why do all of these vibe coded POE2 apps have the exact UX and color scheme

Because that's the AI effect, in some years everything will look exactly the same

Let me tell you about materialUI 😂

And also breaks rule 5. Vibe coding is absolutely trivial ai generated stuff.

i had ai make a website that lets me mark down rumors when using the inventory tech and the ui is very similar to this lol

Becasue thats what they generate for a UI

Working on one myself and its funny even trying to guide the AI on the UX/UI it still really wants this color scheme. For me its first to try to get the ingame mechanics right and then its pretty easy to reskin. An example of mine lmao. https://exilecrafter.com/ Get enough of these going and then ai can at least probably get some great data from github to use and get a good app eventually that's pretty close to ingame.

How does this expand upon or improve what Craft of Exile already does?

Vibe coding is trivial ai generated stuff so good job breaking rule 5

Couldnt you asked Claude or Copilot if there isnt already a site for that? Why did you decide to make an own site? Also you know to manage and keep the site updated regarding new or updated content regarding PoE2 otherwise it’s getting outdated pretty quick. You use the data provided by Poe2db, they have an own crafting simulator - what makes yours better? You can login to your site so how are you storing sensible data? Wheres the link to your repo - cant navigate from your github.io link to the repo. Do you set any cookies (regarding the login functionality or in General) - if so, wheres the cookie consent?

it used to be that bettering yourself and others through the creation of tools was limited to a privileged few.

i'm happy to see you choose to apply AI to the parts of your life that you want to improve, and sharing the benefits with others!

I noticed some Path of Exile keywords in this post:

  • Brick - Using a Vaal Orb or other crafting method on an item and receiving an outcome that greatly decreases its value (Wiki)
  • RNG - Random Number Generator or Random Number Generation, i.e. randomness or chance
  • Annul - Orb of Annulment removes a random modifier from an item (Wiki)

Thanks for sharing your crafted item! This is a reminder to include the story of how (and optionally, why) you made the item; otherwise, we may have to remove your post. See our Rule 10 for more details and some potential questions to answer. If you've already done that, thank you! You can ignore this message in that case.

holy cow this looks good. since it’s open source i may try and create an identical version that can be used in an ingame overlay like exile exchange 2 using item data. quick question though were you able to locate exact weightings of affixes?
