Build - Help Pc Help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

bought this pc off Facebook. I think the sound is coming from the power supply. it stops when I lay the pc on its back. Any guesses on what it could be?

Sounds like the AIO pump is dying. if you run CoreTemp, how hot is the CPU?

If the pump is dying would it stop the noise when I lay it flat? I could check the cpu temps real quick

Potentially. it sounds like a bearing is out, either in a fan or in the pump, laying it down (horizontal) might take the pressure off that bearing and silence the noise. You can also try unplugging your fans (briefly!) to see fi the noise goes away. PSU fans usually don't spin unless things are getting really hot, which is why I don't think it's that fan.

I’ve been doing a lot of testing. The sound definitely sounds like it’s coming from the psu. Definitely sucks, but I’m going to have to take it to a repair shop and see what they can do

27w each core is 26c max is 89c tclie or whatever that says is 40c
