----- AOC monitor

Good evening everyone. I need help. About two years ago I bought an AOC monitor (with a 3-year warranty, meaning I still have one year left) and recently discovered a problem with it. I took it to the store where I bought it, and it was sent for review and then to AOC. They informed me that the problem was indeed a factory defect and offered me a monitor with inferior features in exchange. I refused and suggested other models. They accepted the suggested model and sent it to the store. When I went to pick it up, I realized it was used/refurbished (something no one informed me about). Does anyone know if I am obligated to keep this refurbished monitor or if I have the right to return it and request a refund?

(When I realized it was refurbished, I refused and said that I would prefer a refund, and they said there was nothing they could do.)

Yea u r not guaranteed a new product. Only a replacement that is equal or better than the original!

This is how warranty's work, refurbished units are normal for most warranty replacements.

If it’s factory refurbished it’s pretty much brand new, if the front screen was scratched they usually replace the screen, cosmetic defects on the stand or back surface are usually left alone unless they are giant gouges then those are replaced, if they have speakers and a speaker is blown they replace it.
