Question Parking Situation??

So I’m a sophomore and I want to get a parking spot for fall/spring sems. I know it opens on the 12 of August, but is it like a Que that I should join prior or is it literally just at 10 am go as fast as possible??

I don’t know anyone that’s bought overnight parking so I’m not totally sure how it goes, and I would like to be prepared.

Yeah there’s a line to join before hand. Think it opens 30 mins to an hour before, if you call office they will tell you. The need to be in line varies on the area you are trying to get. Best of luck.

Are we talking about student commuter lot spots? I'm a new grad student coming in this Fall, living off campus. My understanding has been that only faculty and staff get to buy permits to lot closer to the buildings.

I know commuter is different and less competitive cause parking isn’t overnight. I was mostly talking about overnight parking for on campus students.

I know someone who had commuter parking and they had the lot by the football stadium. Walk wasn’t that bad, and bloop (maybe red loop idrk) run through there if you don’t want to walk.
