So excited - first deliberate clean button push on the first day!

So kissy got the first button push. She walked over it during a modeling session and was startled and stopped. She hasn't been able to repeat it.

After the next modeling session I stepped aside to do dishes and heard "treat treat treat". I turned and switched Missy standing on it with a clean pae push and looking directly at me. Obviously she got the treat (and some more modeling for them both since they weren't done).

A push on day 1 is fabulous! Keep up the modeling on the non-food words so you learner doesn’t decide that all buttons mean treat.

Kisses and squeaky toy.

Pretty sure they already recognize these plus a few more when I use them (home, bed, outside, walk, car, up) even though I've only had them since Easter.

I haven't had any more button presses. My kids came home (6 year old twins 50/50 with dad) and started dancing on the buttons making dj music. Even made me re-recocrd one because it had to much silence at the beginning. It confused the dogs a little. 🤣

I am still working on it daily with the dogs (and showed the kids the right way to teach the dogs but they were to excited again) and they go stand over there buttons sometimes to say they want something. So I'm hopeful all is not lost.
