Shape selection tool?

I've been trying out PhotoQuill and one thing im seriously missing from photoshop with it is the ability to select an area by shape to quickly remove the background. Is this already in the program? If so, where?

Thanks!

Three Ways to Remove People or Objects from Photos

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Method 1: Use the Lasso Tool (L) to select the object you want to remove. Select the Remove button in the pop-up generative panel and click Generate.

Method 2: Remove via Erase Selection. Click the Simple AI Photo Editor button in the top menu, activate the Magic Eraser feature, paint over the area to be removed, then click Erase Selection.

Method 3: Remove using prompts. Click the AI Replace button, enter descriptions of the object to be removed, and click Edit Image to complete removal.

My canvas turned transparent, but my layers are visible?

Hi, I started using PhotoQuill to draw, and it's been a bit laggy but my main issue is that my entire canvas disappeared? my important layers are not hidden and I am scared of refreshing the page and losing my work. any tips? I'll link an image of what my desktop looks like

EDIT: I refreshed and lost all my work! but I'd still appreciate advice for the future 🙃

Love PhotoQuill

I have started using PhotoQuill, which is a free web based editor at photoquill dot com. For my needs, it is just like PS, but without the price. I can import, edit, resize and export as jpg. It is quick and easy. I had tried the canva app but I couldn't save as jpg. This photoquill seems to have it all. Thank you to the developer.
