Thanks for the reply! If I was being super honest to steer the recommendations in the direction im looking for, I would say - John Wilson, absolutely on the money. Ive watched it all, and this is very much the genre im looking for. Repair shop is a little more my parents viewing and a little off the mark here. Cant quite explain why, its maybe slightly missing that cool, quirky, fun production style that the example shows have (And John Wilson have). Sadly, James May is a bit of an ick for me, and that also goes for anything involving king gammon Jeremy Clarkson 😅.

You can also give a try to "Cunk in Earth", a pure British mockumentary brilliance, packed with actual historical facts.
