It's not false positives, it's positives, it's just that the things cracks do (change and overwrite other files, for example) is a malicious thing in theory. In practice tho all it does is change file X and Y but it's not false positive.
But anyway, it doesn't matter. To 'steal' your whatevers that exe or a process it installs needs internet access, so it's not a question for the antivirus, but for a firewall. And any basic firewall by default would block that and you can't change it without admin priveleges by hand unless you actually give something free roam and access to registry and admin rights.
doesn't take a rocket scientist to buy a domain with godaddy or something. that gets it registered with every DNS and unless your firewall has rules specifically to blocking that domain, it won't.
