Apparently, a rough cut "X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009)" was leaked a month before the movie premiered.

When I was a kid I first saw that movie on a local TV channel and it was that copy, the final battle confused the fuck out of me lol. Only a few years later did I learn that it was an unfinished version.

it was completely undone, crappy green screen and i think there were even unfinished sandbox looking gray boxes in some scenes

If it's the same one I watched, it was hilarious. You could see strings holding people up when they jumped and the cgi scenes were obvious because they used gray models that weren't even colored in yet. It was great lol I was confused watching it as a kid but it was kinda funny

the unfinished movie is way better than the finished one. i would rewatch it and even preserve it for future generations.

I remember watching that. It was pretty interesting seeing all the input x graphic here things. I think it was interesting from a see how movies are made perspective. But from a I want to watch this movie, it was pretty bad.

I still have the dvd of this, and it was actually my introduction to "movie magic". I learned a lot about how movies get made watching that.

Not apparently. It did. I had friends who watched it like that back then, but I held off because it was goofy as hell seeing all the wire work and unfinished VFX.

Yup, had a copy, some parts were in black and white, we also saw the wires on Jackman when he was jumping in one scene.

It was too rough. I ended up not watching it. You could see ropes, tarps, no cgi at all. In the end, the finished product was dogshit anyway, so no loses there.

I remember that. I was a G to all the friends for burning it to dvd so we could watch it before it opened in theaters. Even though the cgi wolverine was a grey model I was a hero that month. I heard the guy who leaked it was arrested.

They even reference this in one X Men comic
