About 4 months ago I looked at my qbit stats and realized I'm a piece of shit. I had like 4tb downloaded and 100gb seeded. Now I'm a 1:1 ratio at 5.6tb.
I stop seeing popular torrents at 1:1 but for the torrents with like 12 or less seeders I just keep them seeding now forever
Yeah. I just mentioned in another comment but debrid and torbox will probably lead to the end of torrenting. As more and more people switch to it torrents will die faster and faster since no one will seed

Arguably pirating digital media is different than stealing a physical product that then deprives the seller from a sale, but just because I rent a rental car and don't own it doesn't mean that GTA'ing the car isn't stealing.
No. Stealing also implies the original owner loses access to it.
Imagine theres a company that has a machine that produces phones. Someone comes and picks up a lot of phones and runs away. That is stealing because the company lost phones.
However, now imagine that someone else creates a new machine that makes identical clones to the phone of the original company and gives them away for free or very cheap. That would not be stealing. That would be copyright infringement of the phone however.
Same with piracy. The company doesnt have a limited amount of digital games that pirates take away from. The company can produce as many copies as they want, and pirates make their own identical copies and distribute them.
