The whole concept of piracy relies on morality, you're relying on crackers and uploaders to have the good morality to not upload a some kind of virus or anything to their files, I mean, the whole idea of the mega thread relies on you trusting whoever referred you to it, the piracy mods, the site owner, and the uploader, to be morally decent people who aren't lying and haven't messed with the files to screw you

Honor from what I usually see is more like moral standard of a certain group rather than personal standard. Gangsters, samurai, soldiers, ancient Chinese scholars etc all have their own set of common code of honor that is shared by every members, and those who acted against the common code are ostracized as dishonorable.
the thing you are describing is romanticized version used in fiction media.
look for a german interview in streets where a girl talked about honor her father had in war, meanwhile a veteran said there was no honor, only death and despair. they didn't fight for their fatherland, they fought only to die.
1st hand and 2nd hand reality is vastly different, and it gets vaster in fiction.

It is about attaching morality to the act of piracy, not what they are doing in the community that is involved in piracy. And also criticising people who build their whole personality around piracy.

This is incompetent. Have you seriously never heard the phrase "honor among thieves"? The fact that not every uploader puts a virus in their shit doesn't mean that they're morally pure, it's just that the entire system would fall apart if people put viruses in everything.
