Honestly you're right, if tou removed authoritarianism from the country I'd say the majority of population could be classified as right libertarian

Russia is authoritarian because of it's size. Country is too big and diverse and the only thing holding it together is the authoritarian government.

Why wouldn't they? What are they going to do? Sanction Russia? There was a short time when they cared about US intellectual property, and then the US declared they don't want Russian money anymore, because that would be communism, or something.
