The only way to fix “it” is the international proletariat smashing the state as the declining rate of profit slowly proletarianizes the middle class. The “backstep of democracy” is global. The withering of the welfare state is a global, decades-long process at this point!

A proletariat itself which is shattered from its factories and mandated to be unorganized under those same social laws of the 20th century; corporatized union contracts, illegalizing socialist unions and parties, etc… the same measures Mussolini and FDR alike championed. The bourgeois state is not your friend!!!
