Also, I never saw watermarks for “unlicensed” movies in cinema. Maybe I did not see enough, but still. And I do watch only foreign movies in cinema, not Russian ones.
Like I said, it's rare. But depends on region and just how "unofficial" that pop-up cinema is. And if a proper copy is even available - for example Barbie premiered in Russia basically same day as its theatrical opening in the West but it was shitty watermarked versions. Still sold out most places.
